We left Ascension island this morning. The winds were very light so we had to start just motoring, but after a while the wind picked up a little and we could get the spinnaker up. We are now doing about 5 knots. The sea has been fairly flat, which has helped us get back into the sailing thing again, although I did sleep for half the day.

It was a little hot today so we are all needing to adjust to the new temperature. The fans were used for the first time today.

Our next stop is Fortaleza Brazil which is about 1500NM away so we are looking at about a 10 to 12 day sail depending on the wind.

Our current position is 7 deg 51,26'S and 15 deg 18,14'W.
