Fun with some friends

Today was "student free day" which means no school for our kids. No school, no activities, no work for me and good weather? It didn't take long to convince Greg to take his day off and throw the lines as soon as Felix finished his new audition for the Conservatorium on Sunday.

At the last minute (in fact hour), we invited two little friends to join us. It is always nice to share some sailing time and show to the kids what living on board can really be. Usually coming for a sleep over is quite exciting so imagine going for some adventure in the bay!

A 20 + knt wind and beating might not have been the best 1st time sailing experience but the kids had a ball (until one needed a bucket).

Needless to say, it was great to see the sails up again and hear the water along the hulls.

They all had fun jumping endlessly in the water, then climbing the big sand dunes and trying to find the best sliding tool.

Even after so many times there, Moreton Island and its big dunes stay an amazing spot to relax, play and appreciate being at anchor again.

Once back at Dockside, the kids asked when we could go back. We all hope as soon as possible...
