What a day!

Greg went for his 4th visit to a dentist in the last three weeks. His root canal treatment is finished but there are still few more steps to go and lots more EC$ to go with (why medical insurances don't pay back dentistry?)

And of course while he was away, something big/bad/bang happened. A monohull which was leaving its anchorage crashed into Merlin. We were inside with the kids and heard a huge noise. The boat arrived nearly perpendicularly to us and damaged quite deeply the fibreglass of the starboard hull and bent one stanchion. This means quotes/insurance/haul out and lots of other hassles.

The afternoon went smoother. I did a presentation on jellyfish at the local marina. About 60 cruisers were there to learn more about these beautiful creatures. The evening ended even better with hamburgers for all.

Time now to go and sleep and hope we won't have any more trouble in paradise.
